CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FIRST COMMUNICANTS

On Saturday, June 17, 2006, five boys and four girls made their First Holy Communion at the Living Water Community Chapel. Fr Christopher Lumsden was the Celebrant.
Indeed this was a special and memorable day for them. After their First Communion they were asked how they felt and there were various responses: “Happy”; “Fantastic”; “Good”; “Excited”; “Amazed”; and one shared when he received the Eucharist he felt God was within him making him feel like a new person!
This class started in September 2005 and ended in
June 2006. During this period, they were helped to understand at their age
level the meaning and gift of Baptism, Eucharist and Reconciliation. The
learning process helped them to connect faith, learning and life. They also
went on a retreat and hike at Mt St Benedict and had a Christmas party and other
activities. The children thoroughly enjoyed their classes.
