FOUR
CONVERTED, FOUR MORE BAPTISED
AT ST. PATRICK'S

(L to R) DeVere Sealy, Christina Foster, Sharon Maloney,
and
Nicholas Lashley are anointed by celebrant, Fr Harcourt Blackett.
Four Anglicans were received into the church Sunday 21 November, at
Sunday Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral, Bridgetown. Nicholas Lashley,
Christina Foster, Sharon Maloney, and DeVere Sealy were visibly moved as
they were anointed and presented to the congregation.
They had been prepared by Lucille Cockburn of Living Water Community
over a six-month period, following a Life in the Spirit Seminar conducted
earlier this year by Living Water Community and Our Lady, Queen of Peace
prayer community.
Nicholas' ten-week old daughter, Emma Nicholle, was also baptised at
that same Mass, along with three other babies. Emma's grandmother, Ann
Thomson, remarked ecstatically, "This is the most wonderful day of my life!"
The foursome who were received had habitually attended Holy Mass at
various parishes, including Sacred Heart of Jesus in St Philip, and St
Patrick's. Sealy, in particular, was actively involved as a member of the St
Patrick's Sports and Cultural Club for a number of years. He also plays the
harmonica in the choir at Sacred Heart parish and in the music ministry in
Living Water's Wednesday night prayer meetings in Wildey.
May the Lord continue to bless them all!
