On Monday, October 13, we spent the day at the Divine Mercy Shrine in Lagiewniki.  The Divine Mercy Shrine is the place where St Faustina received personal messages from Jesus – the essential features of St Faustina’s spirituality is the knowledge of Divine Mercy and its contemplation in everyday life; the attitude of trust towards the Lord God and mercy towards neighbour, love for the Church and concern for the rescue of lost souls, Eucharistic worship and devotion to Jesus.

The day was spent in private prayer.  We each had different requests and prayer needs.  But we also spent hours praying for Trinidad & Tobago.  At the end of Mass, there were lots of tears as we started to sing “Lord Heal our Land”.  We all felt the pain of Trinidad.  At 3.00 pm we were privileged to say the Divine Mercy Rosary with the Sisters of the Shrine.
