GIVE THANKS WITH A JOYFUL HEART
The Gala Concert

Birthday wishes form Ian and Richard

Under the management of a small committee, a Gala Concert in Rhonda's honour was held at the Central Bank Auditorium on Saturday, August 26th - at Rhonda's request, full proceeds will go towards maintaining our ministry to the poor.

The evening started with a cocktail hour from 7.00 pm during which time an original 1981 painting entitled 'Matura' by artist Harry Bryden (which he very generously donated) was sold by silent auction.

Then came the concert at 8.00 pm with a star-studded cast of Pedro Lezama, Lights of Love, Wendell Constantine, Bentley Potter School of Dance, Salana Ali, Vanessa Bushe, Johann and Johanna Chuckaree, Ian Amoroso, Lord Relator, Wendy Sheppard and the Lydians.  This was truly a musical treat and all present agreed that it was an extremely enjoyable and memorable Saturday night.  Praise God!                                     Mina, Gloria & Sheila (Rhonda's Mum)

In Rose’s words, “Rhonda has been a constant stream of Living Water flowing from the heart of God through our Community to the many persons in need, both in our beloved country and the islands of the Caribbean.  Her love for God is a great example for us – ‘Deus caritas est’ – and her desire to communicate that love is obvious in the way she is brave, strong and willing to embrace every challenge before her.  May Rhonda’s love for God and the poor continue to live on in our lives now, while she is with us, and forever.”

What else could we do as a community but offer our praise, time, talent and treasure in giving thanks to God with a joyful heart for the gift of Rhonda Mary Maingot.   Deo Gracias!
