The Year of the Eucharist
October 2004 - October 2005

On June 10, 2004, during the Solemn Mass held in front of
St. John Lateran Basilica, on the Solemnity of the Body and Blood
of Christ, the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, announced the Year of the Eucharist, which will be observed throughout the Church from October 2004 to October 2005.
