Daughter of King Peter III of Aragon, and great-niece of Saint Elizabeth
of Hungary. Princess. Queen of Portugal. Mother of two. Suffered through
years of an abusive and faithless marriage. Widow. After the King's death,
she distributed her property to the poor, became a Franciscan tertiary,
and retired to a monastery of Poor Clares.
