Vision Statement:

'TCN' was formed to put means of communication at the service of the Church Apostolate.  It has a challenge to  foster authentic Christian values that lead to the development of the whole person and the transformation of our society.

TCN's primary function is to strengthen what is already present  within our communities, challenging them to broaden horizons, take innovative steps and thus deepen their commitment to serve their wider communities. It is not an electronic Church and is not in competition with or a substitute for concrete Christian community ( parish, lay community, various groups).

TCN is now  managing programming on Channel 10 on cable television in Trinidad & Tobago.  Archbishop of Port of Spain, Most Rev. Edward J Gilbert, has given his full support to this ministry.

 Trinity Update:

 Divine Mercy:

A devotional programme which focuses on the Mercy of God with particular attention to the Divine Mercy devotion which was revealed to the Polish nun - Sr. Faustina.

 Footsteps:

A programme designed to guide, inspire, educate and motivate teenagers and young adults.

The Mass:

"The 'Lord's Day', has always been accorded special attention in the history of the Church because of its close connection with the very core of the Christian mystery.  Sunday recalls the day of Christ's Resurrection.   It is Easter which returns week by week, celebrating Christ's Resurrection.  Rightly, then, the Psalmist's cry is applied to Sunday: "This is the day which the Lord has made: let us rejoice and be glad in it".

" For those who cannot take part in the Eucharist ( because of sickness, disability or some other serious cause) and who are therefore excused from the obligation, radio and television are a precious help, especially if accompanied by the generous service  of extraordinary ministers who bring the Eucharist to the sick, also bringing them the   greeting and solidarity of the whole community."
