Psalm 147:1  Praise Yahweh – it is good to sing psalms to our God – how pleasant to praise him.

Deuteronomy 4:31 “For Yahweh your God is a merciful God and will not desert or destroy you or forget the covenant He made on oath with your fathers”.

Micah 7:18 – What god can compare with you: taking fault away, pardoning crime, not cherishing anger for ever but delighting in showing mercy?

Micah 7:19 – Once more have pity on us; tread down our faults, to the bottom of the sea throw all our sins.

Micah 7:20 – Grant Jacob your faithfulness and Abraham your mercy, as you swore to our fathers from the days of long ago.

Amos 5:6 – “Seek Yahweh and you shall live”.

Jeremiah 4:1 – ‘If you wish to come back, Israel, - it is Yahweh who speaks – it is to me you must return……

John 3:16 – Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not be lost but have eternal life.

Jude: Verse 21 - .keep yourselves within the love of God and wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to give you eternal life.

Micah 6:8 –  ..this is what Yahweh asks of you: to act justly, to love tenderly and to walk humble with your God.

Ephesians 6:10-11 - ¹⁰ Finally, grow strong in the Lord, with the strength of his power.  ¹¹Put on the full armour of God so as to be able to resist the devil’s tactics.    

Ezk. 11:19 – I shall give them a single heart and I shall put a new spirit in them; I shall remove the heart of stone from their bodies and give them a heart of flesh.

Joel 3:1 – After this I shall pour out my spirit on all humanity, Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old people shall dream dreams, and your young people see visions.

Luke 4:18 – The spirit of the Lord is on me, for he has anointed me to bring the good news to the afflicted.  He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives, sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free.

Luke 11:13 – If you then, evil as you are, know how to give your children what is good, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!.

Acts 1:8 – But you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit which will come on you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem (Trinidad & Tobago), but throughout Judea and Samaria, and indeed to earth’s remotest end.

Acts 1:4 – While at table with them, he had told them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait there for what the Father had promised.  ‘It is’, he had said, what you have heard me speak about:

Acts 1:5 – John baptized with water but, not many days from now, you are going to be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

Acts 2:33 – Now raised to the heights by God’s right hand, he has received from the Father the Holy Spirit, who was promised, and what you see and hear is the outpouring of that Spirit.

Acts 2:37 – Hearing this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, ‘What are we to do, brothers?

Acts 2:38 – ‘You must repent,’ Peter answered, ‘and every one of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:41 – They accepted what he said and were baptized.  That very day about three thousand were added to their number.

For what you received was not the spirit of slavery to bring you back into fear; you received the Spirit of adoption, enabling us to cry out, Abba, Father!
